Three years ago, NanoChronia was incorporated with conviction — but without validation, certification, pilots, or secured funding.
Today, we are celebrating substance built and weight carried.
2023–2024 were foundational: defining strategy, sharpening focus, securing public funding (Torres Quevedo, NEOTEC, CPP) and earning investor trust through convertible financing from MBC, S&B, and the Repsol Foundation Entrepreneurs Fund.
2025 became execution.
Our ammonia system reached TRL8 and entered industrial pilots with Costa Food Group — evolving into a multi-parameter platform (NH₃, temperature, humidity, CO₂).
Our hydrogen leak detection system with Repsol is progressing according to plan.
Operationally, we have matured:
• ISO 9001 Stage 1 completed (Stage 2 ahead)
• EMC testing finalized
• CE pathway materially advanced
• Software platform nearing readiness
None of this happens without people.
Our co-founders — Eric Navarrete Gatell, Ph.D. , Eduard Llobet, Paul Brown Shute , Manuel Dominguez-Pumar — carried the uncertainty and stayed aligned.
Our R&D champions — Adrià Marcos Pastor ,Nil Solà Peñafiel , Foad Salehnia, Ph.D. , Miguel Angel Pardo, Raúl Carayol Rodríguez, — translated advanced materials science into deployable industrial systems.
After an oversubscribed pre-seed, we have opened a €3.5M seed round — presenting execution, not just vision.
Three years is short in industrial tech.
But long enough to reveal character.
We have built credibility. Systems. Trust.
And we are ready for the next phase.
